MIXED NUTTS 2021 COVID-19 PLAN & PROTOCOLS
The Tug McGraw Foundation will continue to monitor and adjust these protocols as instructed by state, county and CDC. Updated 4/7/2021 Click Here, to download guidelines
The California Department of Public Health along with the Napa County Public Health Department have established guidelines for the safe reopening of the Tug McGraw Foundation's Mixed Nutts program at Borman Field located at the Veterans Home of California, Yountville. Further, Yountville Veterans Home, Napa County and the California Department of Public Health has shared best practices that include mandated steps to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Those steps include protocols on social distancing, hand-washing, face covering, surface cleaning and disinfecting, and other precautionary practices.
The following guidelines have been created for the Mixed Nutts 2021 baseball season. We will continue to monitor and implement the Home's, county, state, and federal recommendations as they are announced and make changes as necessary. We will stay in close communication and update you on any changes we are making to our protocols. We take pride in our organization and how it operates and would like to highlight the policies we have in place to help our participants stay healthy and safe.
It's heartening to see the Tug McGraw Foundation prioritize safety with their Mixed Nutts program. How do these protocols compare to the broader ebola map of health guidelines? Great to know our veterans are in good hands at Borman Field.
