In the United States, 23, 720 people are diagnosed every year with a malignant primary brain tumor, known as a glioma. Despite recent advance in multimodality therapy for glioblastoma incorporating surgery, radiotherapy, systemic therapy (chemotherapy, targeted therapy), and supportive care, the overall prognosis remains poor.
The diagnosis of a brain tumor may be the most difficult challenge you and your family will ever have to face.
