Quality of Life Research

The Tug McGraw Foundation is committed to enhancing quality of life for children and adults with brain tumors. The Brain Tumor Quality of Life Research Summit is a call-to-action to reinforce the need for quality of life as a significant clinical endpoint.

The Summit brought together a multi-disciplinary team of recognized opinion leaders to address quality of life research in patients with brain tumors. With involvement from noted institutions, including co-chairs Lee Jones, PhD, co-director, Tug McGraw Research Center, Duke University Medical Center and Christina A. Meyers, PhD, ABPP, professor, Department of Neuro-Oncology, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, opinion leaders identified research needs and defined criteria for conducting credible, high-impact studies. The Summit was held on March 16-18, 2008, Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA.
