2nd Annual Billy Mock 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

Dust off your running shoes, grab a friend, and join the crowd for this honorary event held in recognition of Billy Mock.  Billy was a loving Christian with a dynamic enthusiasm for life.  His infectiously positive attitude, ever-present smile and vibrant personality impacted the lives of thousands of people.  He began fighting brain cancer in 2005 and touched thousands more until his death in 2007 at the age of thirteen.

The Billy Mock Foundation is a tribute to him and his compassion for people, love for life, and passion for sports.  Its mission is simply to “Help Others,” which the Billy Mock Foundation does through the awarding of scholarships, the support of families in need, and its association with the Tug McGraw Foundation.

On-site race-day registration will be available from 1PM-1:45PM.  Registration fees until March 15 are $20 for the 5K Run and $15 for the 1 Mile Walk.  After March 15, 2008, fees are $25 for the run and $20 for the walk.  For more information on this event and to register online, click here to download an application or visit the Chester County Running Store website.
