Rita’s Ice Store takes a sweet turn as June 2-3 is set aside for the “Have an Ice Day” fundraiser benefiting the Tug McGraw Foundation. For these two days, Rita’s will make a donation of 10% of all their sales, so stop by and enjoy a favorite ice cream, sample from their selections of Italian ices, cream ices, Gelati, frozen custard, and other terrific delectables, and show your support.

Buckets will also be available to contribute to the Foundation and to participate in a raffle. Each dollar donated will earn one raffle ticket for a variety of items including autographed paraphernalia from the Philadelphia Phillies and country superstar Tim McGraw. A special appearance by the Phillie Phanatic is set for Friday night from 7-8PM, and commemorative 45YGB bracelets will be for sale throughout the weekend.

This special event is the brainchild of seventeen-year-old Mark Levengood, who had his own brain tumor removed at the age of thirteen and lost his sight in his struggle. It is his idea to see that the proceeds of this event held in his honor benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation.
